See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
— Isaiah 43:19

The Canvas is church reimagined, a place for creatives and the creatively wounded, where worship happens through brushstrokes, music, movement, lyrics, design, and vulnerability. The Canvas is a Christian community for believers and nonbelievers, artists, musicians, poets, dancers, and culture makers to encounter God through imagination, collaboration, and healing.

The Canvas is for everyone. Everyone has a medium: Whether you paint, play music, journal, raise kids, design systems, or organize, you’re creative and therefore a producer of worship unto God.

Vision Statement

The Canvas envisions a world where creativity restores the soul, community heals the broken, and every person is free to encounter God through their unique expression. We see churches not as buildings, but as living ecosystems of art, worship, and transformation where the wounded find wholeness, the silenced find voice, and the unseen find belonging.

The Canvas exists to:

1.   Cultivate a sacred space where people encounter Jesus through creativity, community, and healing.

2.   Lead people into authentic relationship with God through artistic expression and spiritual formation

3.   Equip artists, musicians, and creatives to use their gifts in service of God and others

4.    Provide spaces of healing, restoration, and discipleship

5.   Offer spiritual support through gatherings, education, and outreach
