Is traditionalism separating us from God?
Our thoughts, patterns, behaviors, beliefs, and even habits can put us in the danger zone of traditionalism. Perceptions of what a Christian is, or how a Christian is supposed to walk, talk, act, etc., church life, prayer life, home life, work life, social life are all areas where status quo can lead to complacencies and traditionalisms. Programmatic church services, systemic mundane living, or simply denominational or cultural belief systems are areas that I’ve personally encountered. What are some traditional systems you feel hinders your growth in God? As The Canvas community grows, what are some things we could do to avoid falling into traditionalism?
